Hi everyone!

First post... my son and I have really gotten into boarding since last year, and I want to upgrade him. He currently rides an Atlantis Zilla that I got used. Really there is nothing wrong with his board... but he gets good grades, shreds nicely, is just starting park (he's 10 BTW) and doing well - overall he's a good kid and I want to treat him.

Shred Shop recommended the K2 Vandal as a good board. But...I ride an Arbor Roundhouse and he might really like having a board with the same look, which is why I am also considering the Element Mini.

So just wondering if anyone has experience or opinions between the two. Our riding will be a mix of groomers and park. Probably no powder because we ride in southern Wisconsin. Both are extruded bases.
