The big horned sheep are like that in Colorado too.

I have seen them on Loveland Pass late in the spring driving to or from Arapahoe Basin. I have seen mountain goats chilling on the road too. Be careful on that pass. I have also seen giant rocks and even a snowboard on that road.

This mountain goat wanted to eat my lunch. He creeped up on us eating lunch up on MT Quandary.



He got super close. This is the best wildlife photo I ever took. I was using a shitty point and shoot camera.
