I download TV episodes in torrents to skip commercials, but I'm pretty sure that isn't illegal. I could be wrong, though.

I got a notice from my ISP (Comcast) when I downloaded an episode of Scrubs a couple years ago warning me that it's against the
DMCA and that if I continued, they'd disconnect me. I still do it, just set forced encryption and run
Peer Guardian 2 or use
Hulu or
SurfTheChannel
