Poutanen, Poutanen, Poutanen; how quickly you forget. I agree, wax / no wax over the summer on the base is neither here nor there. But you are now out there in the dry, dry, dry west (yes, I am jealous ) where humidity is of no concern. Back here in the east, the humidity over the summer can pit your edges faster than a 7500 sintered. If you want to keep the rust at bay, ( good suggestion Donutz +1 ) you should do something to keep the rust monster at bay. Slap a messy, cover your edges, drip on the floor coat on your board and forget about it till the snow flies again.
