your board might just decide it don't like that poor treatment, wrap you and it around a tree next time out, for real

i've actually told some groms, that i see dragging the tail of their shit across the parking lot, up to the lift or whatever, 'hey, respect your gear'...they look at me like i'm frikkn nuts, but they carry it right after, heha, yeh, i'm that guy, LOL
