you got it. hips are the easiest to throw spins off. If that's your goal that's the best place to start getting the swing of it.
EDIT: valuable lesson. Always spin into a hip never away... I learned this the hard way off a big quarter pipe gap hip I committed a BS 3 off the left as a goofy rider... haha.. Fell 15ft outta the sky to flat. but I think this should be common sense.
