I can agree with that. There was no need for a mob of craziness, and after thinking about it, threatening to kill someone is not really the Buddhist way...
I always tended to see Buddhism as a religion "untainted" by immoral, money hungry values, but that is simply not the case.
Something that stuck out as being fishy --> when the sherpas wanted to kill these guys, but had enough religious strength to "not hit a woman."
