Default Calgary area Camping/Hiking thread

Just like the title says, I'm heading out for some light camping/hiking in a couple weeks... Looking for ideas!

I was originally thinking Johnson Canyon campground and hike, because it seems like an easy start to the area, and some neighbours said it was very scenic. But I've also read it's extremely busy at times. Being the June 21st weekend it shouldn't be too bad though.

Any other must sees? Eventually we want to get into backcountry camping, but the Fiancee needs to be initiated into Banff area camping so we're thinking a campground is a good start.

So: good campgrounds? Good 5 km or so hikes? Not looking to do any scrambling, just light-medium grade hikes. Rougher trails are okay as long as the grade isn't too steep (Fiancee has sciatic issues that flare up when she has to use a lot of leg-butt-back muscles, yeah yeah, I know)

Thanks!
