Don't forget Eaglecrest in Juneau, my favorite "resort" in AK. There is a reason alot of snowboard videos you watch have some scenes shot there, amazing back and side country terrain. Eaglecrest is also real close to Haines AK, where there are heli operations servicing the best Gnar in AK. Many of the heli operations begin with a warm up day at Eaglecrest before they take you out.

P.S. bonus is that Alaska brewery is based out of Juneau as well and they have small batch trial beers served in the local pubs around there.

I know I'm gonna get a lot of flak, buuuuuttt.... I don't like beer all that much. Samuel Adams has been the only beer that actually tastes good, not good compared to beer, but good compared to anything I would drink. If it actually has flavor though I'm in.

Oh darlin .. you havent had alaskan brewed beer yet. Talk about blowing your mind. Alaskan Brewery, Silver Gulch Brewery here in Fairbanks, there is a new brewery in Healy that apparently has awesome beer, the Glacier Brewhouse in Anchorage and Snow Goose in Anchorage carries good beer too. There is nothing like Alaskan beer... unless you are comparing to Germany. I dont like beer... but I love Alaskan beer.
