I literally just got mine yesterday, haven't had a chance to ride it yet.

I pushed the 2013 pretty fast though, GPS said over 50mph FWIW. I hear there's a price drop on the Westmark/Blacklist to $399.

And I quote from the Arbor PLM "there are no changes to the blacklist" I'm hitting rocks just as I was on the 2012, no wax as usual, and still no problems with speed. You people freak out about the stupidest shit it won't make a difference in you as a rider at all.

Not freaking out. I just prefer to ride hard and fast through the park and was wondering if an extruded base is gonna scrub a noticeable amount of speed.

I've always rode boards with sintered bases. Even my park board Rossi Retox has a sintered base.

Checked the catalog again and either its wrong or BA's rep is. The westmark and blacklist are listed as having the extruded "Fusion" base for 2013. The 2012's have the "Rocket Base" which is sintered. I would say thats a noticeable difference.

Might be why there is going to be a price drop too.

I agree, that sounds like a significant difference. I'm actually inclined to pick up the 2013, as I don't really care all that much about maxing speed and maintaining a base.

It appears that evo.com has 6 of the 154s in stock, and on sale for $314.99

Yeah saw that. They suddenly restocked in mid January, and it's a really good deal. At this point in the season I may hold out until 2013, but not sure

Save money and use that on more lift tickets and gas to the mountains.

Yeah do what BA says and buy last years model always good to have a 100 dollars around for when you break something or a sale. Like smith unloading there remaining i/o and i/os goggles for 66 this week, if you have a pro account with them.
