Yeah man, I reckon Boeing & Sikorsky oughta try and flog some heli's off to those rich bastards too
![]() @Dreampow These shots aren't by me, and stolen from snowjapan.com, I'll post some in about 3 weeks when I get back from my trip. It's great for long runs of deep pow that are accessible via lift, but if you want steep epic rollers (like Art of Flight epic), the closest stuff I've seen in Hokkaido would be hitting one of the many spines of Mt Yotei. Preferably accessed via one of the aforementioned choppers ![]() ![]()

On Monday the 12th and maybe the 13th for half a day I and Raid will be meeting up in Nozawa for some (looks like) powder/trees/ sidecountry action.
I will stay until Wednesday if the powder is good. Looks like this will be one of the last powder dumps (hopeful we will get one or two more) this season. Anyone who is capable of pretty advanced riding and wants to check out Nozawa this is a good chance. I know its a long drive for you boys up in Tohoku but, would be great to see you down here. |

Good to hear you're catching up with some crew from the forum. I tried twice this season, but we never made the rendezvous due to various comedies of error.
I'm be doing some BC around Mt Tokushunbetsu with a mate of mine this weekend. The Teine range got a dump yesterday so I'm hoping some of that drifted East to Tokushunbetsu. I'll post some pics on Mon/Tues or so. Hey Dreampow how long is Nozawa staying open 'til? Some of the Hokkaido skijos have scheduled April 9, but I'm hoping they'll stay open longer. |

Since next season is my last in Japan, I really want to improve my riding... I hope I can join you guys for some meet-ups next year. ETM, I completely second and support the idea of a meet-up thread, mostly because I want to learn from you guys.
