So I went and did the nighta, couldnt help myself even after spending the previous 20 hours in transit. I took out one of my home build boards to test out, I hoped it would ride well but anything was possible, it could be an absolute plank I wouldnt have known till I lugged it 10,000 miles to strap in.
To my (almost) amazement the thing rides beautifully, it carves harder than the board I based the shape off (must be the camber difference) and the nose will not dive under no matter how I try. All in all its a huge success and an awesome feeling to gun down the hill on a stick I made myself. Heres a few random pics, ok pics dont want to load so just the one for now.
