Perisher Snowboard Instructor.

Hey,

Next year (after I finish Uni) I'm looking at doing the APSI level 1 course with perisher. Eventually do my level 2 etc.

Has anyone had any experience with the program? At the end of Australia's season, I would love to travel abroad and maybe instruct/ be a lifty there.
How many hours do you usually get a week after you complete training?
Any other details about it etc would be awesome.

Thanks :)

My sons doing work experience next week at Mt Buller as a snowboard instructor . He's interested in pretty much doing the same (becoming an instructor and travelling for a while). I have advised him he would be better off to go to New Zealand and doing his license there, and doing Avalanche training as well. Most of the world is not like Australia (flat compared the rest of the worlds mountains). New Zealand has some great backcountry, and there are a lot of Internationally recognized courses. Go For It you'll have a ball:thumbsup:
