It's probably going to be pretty wild weather for a couple of days, from the looks of it.

It is currently snowing at Perisher, but it is quite windy as well and forecast say the same very windy on Saturday.

I just seen on ABC news (australia) they are changing from short wave radio to digital radio. I assume they will still use shortwave for a few years though as a transition period.

Well chaps and chapets, it got cold in Adelaide yesterday... and I started getting excited.... I have booked in for a month off Sep/Oct and am starting to think about early bird passes to the south of NZ (they go up in price tonight midnight so great timing) and or some ausy trips. Anyone keen?

I still havent unpacked my bags from japan!
Ill be camping the the national park again this season. Riding perisher and the main range, hopefully doing some snow camping out near carruthers

Let us know if it rains over there. Its been an incredibly dry summer here! Still have really hot days and havent had rain in at least a month heh.
I'm guessing that the NZ season anyway will be even later this year.

....anyway! I'm just in the process of booking a week at treble cone (totals out at $2500 AUD = flights (ex ADL), Accommodation (shared but nice), lift passes, transfers and spending money!) then I may hit up another resort or... something.
