How many Aussies do we have in here? Just seeing what everyones plans are for the upcoming season, i realise its 5 months away but time flies. Is anyone taking a trip out to NZ? and where do most people ride in Aus?
I will be trying to hit up Hotham and Falls, and trying my best to bypass Buller after what they did with season passes! Anyways let me know cos the more people out there the better, ohh and I'm pretty sure I'm doing a NZ trip in Sep just for shits and giggles, maybe fattrav may get back to his hometown for a shred!

I'm not an aussie boarder anymore, but I've boarded/skied for 10yrs at Falls, friends of the family had a massive odge in mt beauty....
Hopefully in a few yrs I'll be living back in Oz, and will have the chance to revisit my youth ;-) Although I must say I don't miss the Aussie slopes, or prices :-D ps - I remember the big dipper and wombats ramble.... used to fly down the ramble as a kid, and take the jump at the big dipper. Has falls changed a bit over the years( I was there last time in 99 |

It has expanded a little but overall is pretty similar, it has a few new runs but nothing major. This year if the snow is good they will have better crowds as they released an early bird season pass for $699 and you can ride hotham, perisher, falls, thredbo. Awesome deal compared to what Aus is usually priced like.

I can't wait for Hotham this year, i know Buller and Falls much better but i have heard soooo many good things about Hotham I'm itching to get there. Just can't do Buller anymore after what they released as their season pass prices!

I think Buller season pass prices are more about controlling crowds than making money. Imagine a Saturday there if they had a $699 season pass!
I havent been in years but I'm guessing things havent improved there crowd wise!?
