Maybe you should just bring the dog with you.

i dont think the convention center/hyatt regency would be too keen on having him in there.

so, have room on your couch for me and a 70 lb. boxer?

Yep, and two dogs he/she can play with. Plus a couple of cats to chase around. Oh yeah it would be a bed and not a couch.

I'd take Gary's offer, I have two dogs and two cats but sadly only a couch for ya. I do probably live closer to the mountains than most people on the board though.... Either way if you want hit me up and we'll go ride. If it's a monday or tuesday I'm 90% sure I could get you a free lift ticket to Loveland.

Like I mentioned, can you ride a 166 board? The rule of thumb for bc boards is you want them to be about 6cm longer than your resort stick. I think Loveland will be closed by the time you come in May. Also you should see if you can't stay a couple of extra days so you can hang out for the weekend. You are welcome to crash at my pad.
A-Basin would still be open, but that is also prime chuting season. All of the gnarly lines that have been too dangerous to do in the backcountry are good to go at that time.
Anyway, catching some afternoon early evening rockclimbing wouldn't be a bad thing either. In fact I'll probably be doing more of that than snowboarding by that time of year.
