new AVALANCHE iPhone APP - opinions? - Snowboarding Forum

Hey guys. MEC and CAC have put out an Avalanche App. Im just learning about backcountry dangers myself, so there are alot of variables I am unfamiliar with. I was wondering if anyone has seen the New App (It's FREE) and if anyone had opinions. I am not asking is the app could replace proper more indepth research, just wondering how it functions and if it's useful.

Haven't seen it, but if it has info like what is contained on Avalanche cards, how to on pit tests, beacon searches, that sort of thing, it couldn't hurt.
