A word of thanks to Trueblue for making some space for this new section! With the upcoming season getting closer, it is great to start out with a section dedicated exclusively to back country snowboarding. This is the place for all things related to back country riding from equipment, to trip resorts to advice on getting started.

Back country riding provides a whole new side to snowboarding and comes with a whole different set of challenges, rewards and dangers. A mistake in the back country has the potential to be life threatening, so please, no question is ever too dumb to pose here and those of us into this kind of riding will do everything possible to give you good, safe and straight up advice.
