climbed mt Baker two consecutive days this weekend with a couple of friends. Very strong ski mountaineers and I am fortunate to be able to ride with them. . phenominal times with one of the best lines I have ever ridden. 13,000' climbed, 10,000' ridden in 2 days.

hey Tim!
Been doing pretty well. Trying to make the most of this weird year. The kicker/pond skim at heather meadows sounds like a great idea. I was up at Bagley lake during the hot days prior to this with my dog. right onto snow from the lot. They just started the upper road plowing. Tried to take her down the steep waterfall chute(don't know the name) on table and she backed out and I had to climb back up it from a third of the way through. The snow was starting to get just a little sun cupped. Still about 8' on the road @ the blueberry BC gate(is that what it is called?) Was really fun once it got soft. Saw a couple pond skimming near the damn, and there where lots of good spots to do so. Was pretty near perfect PNW summer day. |
