TR: Gettin it on a full moon - Snowboarding Forum

Went out on Feb 6 to try and get some turns under the full moon. Went out with Ryan and Mike in order to find some decent terrain. We haven't had snow in almost a week so I knew everywhere would be tracked out. We opted for some low angle touring since our snowpack is shit. I didn't get many photos and the POV is completely black

It was really fun to get out with these guys and enjoy the night. Sorry for the red light I tried to prevent it from showing up in the photo.

It was super cold on the ridge line. It was subzero on the ridge line and some photos didn't turn out exactly right so sorry if some are blurry hands were not working right.

Solitude closer and Brighton in the distant with their lights on

Looking over at Gobblers and Reynolds

Again with the bright lights of Salt Lake in the background.

I had my headlamp which was needed since we had to ride in the trees on the exit, but up top it was a wide open run. Head lamp wasn't needed since the snow was lit up by the moon.

This is sick snowvols... now I have to try to plan a trip around a full moon, lol. Either way, we need to get it in when I get back out.
