Rome Vs. Drake Vs. Burton Bindings
Hey, Just broke my old Burton Custom Binding after slogging though waist-deep powder for 2 hours. Never the less I need new bindings for the upcoming season.
So ya just looking for some input on what binding I should pick up, I spend most of my time free-riding, never really bother with the park unless i'm bored stiff. I'm looking for something responsive that works well on steeps and in the Pow as I live on Vancouver Island and we get a but-load of snow.
After doing some research I've narrowed it down to a few bindings.
Rome... Targa/Arsenal - Just heard make a good product.
Drake...Czar/Mentor - Local shop carries them and seem stiff and durable, which I like. Good price as well
Burton...Cartel - Sounds like a classic, not sure how free-ride specific they are, maybe a little park orientated?
Anyway, any input from people who have riden any of these bindings would be appreciated as I don't want to blow my hard earned cash on some bum gimmiky product.
