quick question about sizing

Just pulled the trigger on a 153cm Rome Shank (so stoked!), and before I buy some bindings to go with it, I just want to make sure on sizing... Waist width of the board 255, I've got size 10.5-11 boots. I should go for large bindings right?

Generally yes, but depends on the bindings...

thinking a pair of missions at the moment, but open to alternatives... just looking for a nice pair of playful park/all-mountain bindings that are on the softer flexing side but not too soft... missions seem like a good fit for what i want, but suggestions from other brands are welxome!

For burton you're on the edge of medium and large. I wear 10.5 boots, can't get a large binding to center. I end up with way more heel overhang.

Try medium first.

So does waist width play into the decision at all? Or is it literally all boot size that determines what size bindings you get?

Boot size determines both waist size and binding size. Anything under about 11.5 or so works on a standard board. 12 and you start thinking wide.

Alright wicked. So we're thinking most likely large would be the best choice, but try a medium first? I might be ordering online and may not have a choice of trying... In that scenario, which size would be the safest bet to go for?

So I actually went and got new boots because the old ones were beaten to shit after seasons of use... I got Nike Vapens in a size 10... Strapped my boot into a pair of M/L Missions and it seemed to be on point.. Medium way to go then I suppose?

If you had even over hang (heel and toe) then you are good to go. I ride a 10 Vapen too and I would buy medium for sure!
