Default NOW IPO warranty update

Alright, as I had stated in a different thread, I had an issue with the ankle strap breaking. I mailed the issue to NOW including a photo. JF got back to me within minutes and directed me to a local dealer who he said should have parts.

I go to The Source and of course they have no parts. I send this update off to NOW asking if they have parts anywhere else. JF gets back to me (again in under an hour) and says "just give me your address and ill send you what you need".

Bam. Ill update when I get parts. So far the experience with NOW has been surprisingly positive given my bindings lasted 5 runs. Cant wait to get em fixed and put them through the ringer.

I had to wait a bit on my ladders since they were in production at the time but they got them out as quick as they were able to. The communication throughout was very friendly and fast. You never like having to deal with a warranty issue but my experience with them went as well as it possibly could.

FYI JF is the owner. So I'd say your experience is pretty solid to get him answering you right away.

Same here... My email got forwarded to Josh @ Nidecker, got a set of straps out to me in a couple days, with a pile of stickers. Super awesome people they have.

Service was so good, I sent all the boys at Nidecker a few wobbly pops as a thank-you

Met up with JF in whistler last spring, and he let me rock a set all day - got me hooked!

Good to hear you got hooked up too. I met JF at the Baker Banked Slalom last season, showed him my chewed up ladders, and he replaced them for me on the spot. Even gave me a set of those half-highbacks that weren't released until this year on the Select model. He, and the company, are legit!

I had a decent experience with Now and their warranty service, great guys for sure. That being said, even after replacing the ladders on my last year IPOs I still don't like the ratchets or the straps themselves, both of which are slightly upgraded this year on the new models (I picked up a set of Drive bindings this year as well).

Today I said fuck it, and picked up a set of Switchback straps (think i read a post on here mentioning that they would work). They fit perfect right out of the box, with no mods or anything needed to make them fit with the Now bindings. I haven't tried them yet obviously, but this weekend maybe I'll put them to the test.

I love the Now bindings and really can't ride anything else, but they really need to up their game with the straps. This year is an improvement, but they still have a ways to go to really match quality with other bindings in their price bracket it seems.

You are awesome! I'm doing this exact same thing! Just waiting for my straps to come in.

Ladders showed up yesterday with a bunch of stickers. I got a full day on them with some Burton ladders, and really loved them.... But I see where the straps issue comes from. My toe straps wouldn't stay in place at all.I may rub my toe caps from a set of missions from now on
