Size 9's in an Xl binding??

Hi guys,
After searching a few threads i get that the general opinion is that XL bindings would never fit or be suitable for a size 9 UK boot.

Thing is, the Ride Rodeos I have fit really snugly around my pair of 32's.

How much difference is between the L rodeo bindings and the XL's??

Should I swap out the Rodeos for the Large or another binding all together or stick with the snugly fitting XL's?

Love to hear comments, no matter how obvious they may be!
Cheers all.
