Default Binding/Boot issue

So i just strapped in, in my living room to make sure on my setup and all.
I have a size 12 boot, they're about 3 years old.
I just bought new Burton MalaVita bindings, size Large.
I used to have this same issue, but the upper strap on the bindings is really difficult to get to click, with the boot pushed down and all the way back.. takes a lot of strength to get it to get even 1 click.
Like i said, size 12 boot, and Large MalaVita bindings, so it seems about right.

Can i buy a longer plastic part of the strap with more teeth in it? Everything else feels fine, just the upper strap feels like it needs more teeth/a longer strap.
Anyone have an easy fix to this?
Oh, and the toe strap is fine, not tight at all.

Thanks for your input!

Sorry for the stupid question but did you try adjusting the ankle strap?

Should have a tool-less adjustment screw. Flip up the cover and use it to turn, loosen, and select a different hole. I can't imagine the adjustment isn't going to match your boot. Sounds like you're one hole off.
