Need a binding upgrade for my new Ride Buckwild
Just got a new board after 4 years. Thought I would upgrade my bindings too

Skill Level: Intermediate/Advanced
Terrain: 80% park, 20% groomed black diamonds

Current Bindings: 2007/2008 Burton Custom.
Current Boots: 2010?-ish Burton Moto

I guess my bindings are more for beginner-intermediate riders

New board: 155cm Ride Buckwild. 252mm waist width

My boots are size 11, (foot 10.5), not sure if I belong in medium or large

Based on a few minutes of research, my first thoughts are currently
Burton Cartel, Ride Rodeo, Ride Capo, Ride Revolt

2013 models/on sale would be a plus

From the bindings you listed i would go with either the Rodeo or Cartel.

If you're doing 80% park I wouldn't think you'd want the Capos; these suckers are pretty stiff and that's coming from a big dude. They're great for cruising and riding hard but I don't think they'd be all that great in the park. Rodeos or Maestros if you want Rides.

You asked about size with an 11 boot. It will depend on the boot outer size, as not all 11s are the same, and it will depend also on the binding brand.

If you go burton, probably will need medium. What size are your customs? How's the heel and toe overhang? Burton's have fixed heel cups, which means your only toe-heel adjustment is in the holes on the discs. With size 11ish boots and a large burton binding, I'm guessing you can't get the binding close enough to the toe side of the board to get equal overhang.

Your boots...are they in great shape? Do they fit you perfectly? The reason I'm asking is that unless there's something specific about the customs that isn't working for you, I would suggest at least considering new boots. They are by far the most important piece of gear.
