Default Bindings for Skunk Ape

I just bought a 169 Skunk Ape and I am looking for new bindings too. Maybe I can get some good advice here.
I weight about 220 lbs, wear Flow The One boots size 11.
I would consider myself as an experienced rider and my riding style as active, aggressive and technical. I will mostly ride slopes and any natural terrain aside with jumps and steep sections. Powder if possible. I hit some jumps in the park only while passing by, no rails or so. I like to go fast, carve as clean as it gets with such setup and then jump off the slopes if the terrain looks nice.
The ideal binding would be stiff enough for my weight, for fast carving icy slopes and secure feeling on steep terrain (have to keep up with skiing friends) and give enough flex for playing alongside the slopes, using natural obstacles (no butters, just jumping and smaller spins).
So far I have two favourites:

Rome Targa
From my research the Targas would meet my needs due to the customisation but I do not know if they are stiff enough or even too stiff. My knees will like the 3.5 canting.

Flow NX2 AT
My dealer told me that the Flows fit the flex of the Skunk Ape perfectly but I am not sure about the bindings. I like Flow binding but would like to go back to the classic ratchet and entry system.
Does someone has experience with these bindings and a similar board or would consider something else?

Thanks in advance!

I haven't tried either of your recommendations but as someone who rides a similar style on the same boards and is in your weight class I can't say enough good about Now bindings. I rode Malavitas all last year and they were good, but the Now Drives I'm riding give me confidence and make me ride harder, faster, and longer. They're considerably stiffer than the Malavitas but feel much more supportive and responsive in all situations. I only prefer the softness of the Malavitas when I'm riding (read: learning) switch as they're a bit more forgiving when it comes to the imprecise movements and technique.

If you're worried they'll be too stiff and want an all-around try the IPO's from
Now. The only real difference between them and the Drive AFAIK is in the taller/stiffer highback.

Happy shredding!
I live my life one storm at a time.

Are you really riding a 169?

Not sure where you ride, but that's an enormous board. I'm 6 ft,210, with size 12 32's. My ape is a 157w with union factory bindings and it's the most solid Bigfoot board I've had! Wouldn't trade it for anything for that size range and purpose.

Just my .02. Read up on some 13/14 union factory bindings.

Thanks so far.

Yes I'm really riding 169 and will ride it in the Alpes. I love to ride larger boards because they are so stable at speed and the rocker of the Skunk will keep it somehow "playfull" enough for my requirements and weight ratio.

I will take a closer look at Now Drives and the Union Chargers.

Still would like to know more about the Targas?
