Bindings broke

Hey guys

I have a pair of 2014 Burton Custom EST bindings. One of the little hooks on the back of the shred bed broke making one side of the bed lift up more easily on one side. By little hooks I mean the red little things in the pic. Would it be OK to keep using them? Will this effect any performance? I am bit worried snow might get underneath the binding more easier now while I am riding. Are my fears justified?

Keep using them for sure! It's not going to be unsafe at all. But in the meantime email Burton. They typically have excellent customer service and will more than likely replace the part/footbed for you. They replaced a toe cap for me on my 2012 Cartels without any issue.

^+1 Definitely ride them. Burton's customer service is amazing. And they ship super fast as well. Or you could order the canted est foot beds instead if you're interested.
