Bindings for my rossi krypto 164w
I just started boarding this year on a used k2 viper 158 wide with k2 mach bindings. I just picked up a 164 wide rossi krypto. Im 6'4, 195-200 pounds, size 13 boot. I feel im advancing really quickly so id get a nicer board that suits the style of riding i want to do which is all moutain. Im looking at picking up some ride ex bindings to go with my ride orion boots on the rossi board. Open to ideas im just a rookie i want to hear experienced peoples suggestions. Im keeping the boots they fit me really good and i have broken them in nicely.

I'm similar in size to you. I'm 6'3" 205 but i wear an 11 in boots. I typically ride all-Mtn as well. I was looking at Ride bindings a few years ago. The EX and LX looked good, but were a little too soft. I went with the Revolts instead. Little more responsive, although not completely stiff either. If you're looking to go with Rides then that's what I would recommend. The only drawback I have with them is a small one: the toe strap. I am a huge fan of the Baltimore toe strap, or as they're more often called, the cap strap. Those cup around your toe instead of on top of them. So they hold them down and pull them back at the same time. Just gives the entire binding a better feel and fit, IMO. The ride toe straps are a hybrid, they have flexible webbing that allows them to go over or around. It works pretty well, but not quite as good as a true cap strap. I am going to retro-fit mine with some Baltimore straps from an old pair of Technines that I still have. Orange and white straps on a black and white binding. Should look pretty gnarly.

Well i went to a local skate shop and ended up with union force bindings. Fit my rossi board good along with my boots. I always read they make good bindings
so i hope it was a good choice.

i have this board too and I'm using cartels on it. What I found was this board really likes a stiffer boot to help edge to edge, so if you have a softer boot and are having problems with edge to edge give that a shot.
