I know nothing about bindings

I am buying my first "good" board soon, but I don't know anything about bindings. I have been looking at Salomon Rhythms, Burton Freestyles, Burton Customs, Union Forces, Union Atlases and Union Flites. I know it is a big list but if anyone can recommend some bindings or tell me if there are any problems with the bindings I listed that would be great. I am probably getting the 2013 versions because it saves money.

Edit:I go in the park , but I'm pretty new in there. I usually go off jumps I find on the runs. So I guess freeride style bindings.

You might want to post what kind (park, freeride, all mountain, etc..) of riding you plan to do and which board you are planning on getting.

Binding selection is so much about preferences in stiffness, weight, strapping, high-back, regardless:
-Union Contact Pro's… (atlas and force just don't give me the feel I like, but they are very solid nonetheless)
-Burton Cartel, Malavita, Genesis… (the one thing burton does very well… bindings)
-Rome Targa, 390's, Boss…
-Ride Rodeo, Maestro, Capo...

IMO, don't skimp on your bindings, you're far smarter to get last years best than this years middle. Your bindings can make or break your day far faster than your board can.

I put together boards for friends and family, I've seen tons of great bindings under $150 on eBay
