Burton Custom way too small

I recently purchased my first set of bindings, the burton customs, in a size medium and received them today. When trying to adjust the toe ramp to fit my boot, i realized it was way too small. I got a medium size binding(8-11) and am in a a 8.5 boot. I didnt fiddle with the highback or anything else. My boot goes over the end of the toe ramp about two inches when the ramp is adjusted fully out. If im doing something wrong, please help me out!

I feel like, in a 8.5 boot, that the boot shouldfit much easier, with a smaller adjustment

Looks like a good fit to me. Also, depending on what year binding you have, that front strap is a "cap strap," meaning you strap it over the top and front portion of your toes. This helps pull the heel back into the heel cup as well as keep your toes strapped down. I'm computer illiterate so if anyone could post a pic, that would help the OP a bunch.

That looks fine. You don't want the ramp to go all the way out to the end of the boot. Toe drag will be even worse.

Those fit just fine. Burton bindings run big. Large Burtons are fucking HUGE. I wear 10.5 boots and medium Burtons fit mine just fine.

Yup those are toe cap bindings. They go over the toe of your boot! For the most part all bindings go over the toe now, not over the top of the foot as pictured. Use the toe cap and use the bindings, they're fine. The only error is human error in this case. But as they say to err is human
