Womens snowboard bindings to fit DC Karma boots

Hello all,

I just recently purchased new DC snowboarding boots because my Burton ones had gotten way too small, and now it seems as if I have to jam the boots into the Burton bindings to even get them to fit. I assumed that Burton bindings would work with any brand boot, and not just Burton, but the DC's are much wider and more bulky than the burton boots I had. The boots will fit into the bindings, but I have a feeling it may be a pain when on the MTN with struggling to get them to go in the bindings. Should I purchase new bindings, or try to find some burton boots that will work? I really like the DC boots, because they are much more comfortable than the Burton ones I had. What brand bindings work well with DC boots? as far as I can tell, DC does not make bindings.

Any advice is appreciated,

Thanks!
Rachel

Hi and welcome!

I've never owned/ridden a Burton binding but have noticed (mostly around here) that fit as you've described is a common issue.

If you've found boots that fit well and ones you love, stay with the boot and try for different bindings. Don't sacrifice boot fit/comfort. Find a binding to fit your boot instead.

My 32 boots (wider toe box) fit perfectly in both pairs of my Union bindings. Snug but not tight, no jamming them in there. Definitely worth looking into; I've been super happy with Union.

Hmm, perhaps? According to Burton's size chart: Small for sizes 4-6; Med for 6-8.

Best bet is go to a local board shop with boots in hand and try different bindings. See what fits the boot best and what best fits the flex/comfort you're looking for. Or, also bring your current bindings and let them have a look. Hopefully there are good shops in your area.
