12/13 Rome 390 Boss Heel Cup Adjustment

Hello everyone. I recently started a pot about the position of my boots on the board but i thought i would go one step back and ask those on here who have Rome 390 Bosses what they do with their setup.

Basically, i have Rome 390 Boss in L/XL and wear a size 12US K2 Maysis. So which heel hoop position should i have them on? In the instructions it says the M position is for 10-12 and the L is for 12+ so where does that leave a size 12? The problem is further compounded by the fact the bindings have printed on them that the M position is for 11/12.5 and the L 13/14. So anyone with size 12 and Rome 390 Boss out there?

EDIT: I think it is resolved. I took the photo below and the pic with the orange toe strap (top two) is in the L setting. The bottom two photos with the white toe strap is in the M position and i think it is clear it is a better all round fit.

I am leaving this here so that others with a similar question (not likely i guess) will find a solution perhaps.

Feel free to disagree mind

I'm having the same problems with my boss 390s as well. I wear a 11.5 boot and i thought my heel cup in the M position wasn't big enough as i was getting toe drag from it so i moved it to the farthest back. Now I'm thinking it may be too far back. It's not exactly clear from your post but did you say you kept your heel cup position at the M level or was that just the toe strap?
