Better Straps for Now IPO?

So I picked up a pair of last years IPOs last season and have been riding them this season on my main board. I thought I liked them, but this week I went back to my old bindings and I realize that I didn't just like the IPOs- I love them!

Problem is my old bindings (Ride) had awesome Cap Straps and Ankle straps and the IPOs feel like they are a bit of a let down in that area. First, the ladder side always catches and now seems to be stripping. The caps aren't great on my toes either.

Are this years straps a big step up? Can you buy them separately? I saw that I could maybe make a warranty claim on the site, but I don't have the receipt and I'm not sure this is actually a warranty issue. Are there any straps that are interchangeable with the IPOs that are better?

Thanks for any help!

I put my Cartel toe straps on mine. Huge improvement.

in my opinion, burtons cap/toe strap is the most comfortable. i frankenbinding a lot of mine with burton caps. either that or the union toe straps from 10/11

I love ride toe caps. I have them on my voile splitboard bindings. If you like ride, get a set of toe caps from their site.

anyone know if last year's Genesis straps (helical ladder) would fit on last year's NOW (13/14) ?

i'm interested in the NOW but am unsure about the straps. that and the Genesis straps are the shiznizums

I put switchback straps on my IPOs (both sets for sale while i go splitboard crazy). Check out my forsale thread for photos. They work great.
