I had been riding an old Salomon Fastback since 1999. This past weekend, I went to the Burton store and got me a 162w Custom Flying V. I'm 210 lbs, 6'4", l like to carve the courderoy, hit the trees, and do pow (snowcat or side of trail). I rarely do park (to dangerous IMHO for me). I am an advanced boarder only in one direction. This year I will learn switch.

I will be trying on a bunch of boots that i bought online.

I NEED BINDINGS. I am trying to decide between the EST Diode, EST Genesis, or EST Cartel.

Can anyone recommend a binding for my situation (or a boot as well!!)

Thanks!

All are good choices.

Cartels if you're budget conscious, good all around binding.

If you want uber stiff then diodes. Usually people who want diodes self identify, they want very stiff/responsive bindings.

If you want a very comfortable binding, then genesis. Still quite responsive but has a little more give which might be handy in tight trees.
