I have a pair of 2012s I put on a capita stairmaster for when I'm jerking around with my kids or I'm riding the smaller local resorts. To be honest, I'm pretty impressed given what I paid for them, around $80 new. They have nice eva footbeds, the ankle strap is very padded/comfortable, toe strap stays put. They seem to be a bit softer than my 390s but not by much...more so in the highback. Anyway, I'm not one for doing butters, etc. but they're a legitimately good binding in my opinion especially since you can get them pretty cheap. Not sure what the knock on drake is but they put out a quality product.

idk abt your drakes, I still use several pairs old f60's with new burton ladders and ratchets. Broke the metal tang of some old limited corsa, got them warrantied....wanted them to fix them but they sent me some new top of the line REloads...they were crap...too flexy, straps/ratchets would hold for the first few runs and then start slipping....pieces of shit they were...quickly became UNloads

now the problem could be the size of the bindings.. i got 11,5 boots that are pretty ok on most recent boards especially park boards i gues.. but the xl or l/xl bindigs that are recommended for my boot size are maybe too big for a regular board 252mm what do u think? and all the different brands got different sizes.. like with union i could choose between a m/l or l/xl that looks a bit massive

idk, take your boots with you to fit bindings...I'd encourage unions >drakes...way back union guys broke from drakes and started union. btw 25.2 seems a bit narrow for a 11.5 boot...but not a park rider.

well i don think so, pretty much all the boards ive seen are 252 at the middle of the board or under...its the bataleon airobic and becomes pretty fat at the tip and nose.. so its not a problem with a wide stance and the right angls. but the union l/xl are so fraking big, ppl say they should fit on a regular, but im not so sure.. ride got L binding 40,5-46 that sounds perfect..while union l/xl is 43,5-48 i should test in a shop but i dont have the possibility obv, thats why im asking here : D
