Default Union Flites or Flite Pro

I'm making the dangerous move of buying bindings as a present for someone. He has said he wants Flites but I can't decide if I should get the Pro or just Flites?!

He has done 7 seasons, loves a good powder day and is pushing himself in the park at the mo so quite a good rider. What would be the main difference between the 2 bindings?! I've also read the base plates are on the big side so if in between sizes then I should go for the smaller one?!

Please help so I can get it right!!

I'd say Flite Pros. Lighter and better highback.

Yeah shoot for the smaller size.
