Hi guys, as the title says, I just bought a new pair of Forces in the M/L size thinking it will comfortably fit my boots which are size 9 (Northwave Legend). And while everything else is fine, the ankle strap seems to be too small even if I put it in the last hole. I can still strap myself but it's not as easy as it should be and seems to create pressure points. It just feels like this is going to be a pain at the mountain and I would like to find a solution before I go on a week long trip in a couple of weeks.
Could I be doing something wrong? No matter how bulky my boots are, they should comfortably fit in a binding that is meant for 8-11 size. Any ideas?
I don't get why I would contact them. I didn't buy them from them so why would they help me? Do you mean to try to order L/XL ankle straps?
Let me also say I am based in Europe.
Just a shout out to Union, what a great customer service. They sent me new L/XL straps for my bindings, no questions asked, just in time for my Alps trip.
Solid bindings as well, really good match with my Capita DOA.
^Fair to say there's quite a lot of posts on Union straps on the M/L sized bindings being too short for a wide variety of boots...something you guys are looking into solving for next year?
Yes, sizing has been changed. Hopefully the boot companies don't all go super low volume in 2 years.
