2010 Cartels have have the Sensory Bed II which I feel to be a bit firmer than the mushy Sensory Bed in the 09s. BUT, that is my own preference.

If you are debating on buying older year or new years model you may want to look into the Triad EST's, I switched from Cartels to Triads and I'm much happier on the Triads, way more comfortable. Hands down. If I'm remembering right, the Triads are the Cartel body with a Co2 highback and a more cushy ankle strap.
