Salomon Chief toe strap problem

I just bought some new Salomon Chief bindings this fall and am having a problem with my right toe strap. At the top of the run, I strap in and by the end of the run, it's loose and flapping all over the place. I strap in the exact same way into my left binding at that one stays tight. The Salomon toe strap can be worn either on the toe or over the top of your boot. I have tried it both ways and still the same outcome. I have tried tightening it down more and less at the top, and they still get loose at the bottom. I have looked over the strap to see if the teeth were chewed up but they aren't. What should I try to do to fix them before I send them in? Thanks.

Did you buy local? If so, go bring it to them before sending it to warranty.

I ended up calling Salomon and they told me to talk to the place where I bought them. Now Salomon is shipping my out a new toe strap. Salomon said that they have never heard of that happening before.

Nothing against Salomon, they make really good gear, but that is quite a load of BS.

The same thing was happening with a pair of Relay Pro Gift bindings I bought earlier this year. My solution was to return them and try a different brand. Too bad, because other than the toe strap not staying in place I liked the binding.
