Default Any more opinions on 2010 Ride EXs?

Just as the title says, I'm considering putting my $100 Sierra gift card towards a set of 2010 Ride EX bindings - thoughts? I'm a complete beginner (hence why I don't see the need to spend an extra $40 for, say, Forces) interested mostly interested in freeriding with some freestyle stuff mixed in. Board is a 2010 Sierra Team.

ride spi - Google Product Search

I'd go with a higher end model (SPi or NRc) 2009 model and you'll get more for less. Use that gift card for boots or outerwear from sierra.

The new EX is actually a really sick binding they beefed it up a lot this year. Go for it you'll be happy.

Don't be a retard and buy Ride SPi's or NRc's if you are a beginner. I know they are a little more but I recommend the Burton Mission's. The ankle is gel and way comfortable. Light weight too. I like the lime green color way of the EX though. Try out out their newer toe strap.

RIDE > Burton any day of the week. I mean, i guess for a beginer thre isn't much difference, but if you are looking at Ride EXs and Union Forces, there is probably nothing about the Burtons that you would value more. Othe than the name, if you're into that sort of thing....

Thanks for the responses guys. I actually went with a set of 09 Delta MVMTs - seems like they'll be forgiving enough for a beginner but still plenty responsive.
