Hey everyone,

I have a used sims blade coming my way and I want to get something a bit more stiff than my ride EX and switchbacks. Probably won't get to take it out this season so that means I've got a while to find a good deal on something new/used but want some pointers on what to look for.

I've been hearing good things about Nows and I've never been on burton bindings but it's rare to hear negatives on cartels, vitas and genesis. Too many others. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

Did you buy that 158 from snowboard trader? I demoed it at Okemo with my Union Chargers and thought it was a pretty good match. I don't think they make the charger anymore but i was looking at the ultra the other day and it has a very stiff highback. I also have a pair of Rome targas that i like to use on stiffer boards. They are not the absolute stiffest thing out there but they are responsive, very adjustable and come with different footbeds so you can choose what canting you like.

Yeah that was me. Too nice a deal to pass up.

My brother rides DoDs that I like. Targas and katanas always get lots of love too. I don't need the stiffest binding out there. Just want to take it up from my current pairs. The switch backs are a dream for comfy flex bindings and the EX are great for what they are but they've kinda fallen to he back burner.
