hey

i got this wicked deal that will expire soon and it is for a brand new K2 uprise (teal) for 179.99 Canadian. i've been riding for about 2-3 yrs.. and i just purchased my 2nd board (www 145). My old set up was a firefly resonance 150 and k2 sonic (which is on my www now) with firefly size 8 boot.

so i want to jump on this k2 auto uprise for 179.99 but the shop only had size large.

i'm also planning to invest on a new pair of boots as mine is super soft now and completely broken in.

so i tried some ride boots the salesperson gave me and it was a size 8.5 .. too tight so i tried a northwave size 9 (looks alot wider than my current shoes) and it was alot better. but when i strapped on the bindings, i noticed on the inside part (along the side of the chassis), there is a bit of a gap.

long story short, went home and compared to my sonics and firefly boots and doesnt have that gap.

the question is
will i be okay buying these binding at a large size?

ps: first post ever, don't hate :)

I have the same problem. I have size nine boots with large burton FS bindings, I have been told both answers. they will fit with adjustments, also that It is recommended to have medium bindings

man.. why is it when its on sale.. so close but yet.. you get all confuse to what to do! so which answer is the best?

according to the box.. k2 auto uprise fits 8-11. if the northwave boots i tried on was 8.5, should be okay.. but i did noticed that the northwave boots are a lot wider (visually) than the ride boot (size 8...)

"...im not in commission, so no pressure.. but buy this.. trust me it works..."
me: "what is the return policy?"
"when its used, you cant return it...."
me: wtf!! FTL

I have large Ride SPi bindings and wear 9.5 Salomon F22s. I bet those size 9 Northwaves are a lot higher volume than my F22s. The F22s are an extremely low volume boot.

There's probably a 1/2" gap on each side of my boot in my bindings, but I have no issues and they are very secure. I say go for it.

hey guys.. went back to the store today and tried it with my current boots. i am a size 8 (US) and found that the straps with the large binding (k2 uprise) seems to stick out alot after tightening my boots down.. and if i adjust it so it doesnt stick out, i bottom out on the strap and i feel that im not strap fully.. i guess.. dumb question is.. medium is prolly my best size for size 8?
