All Mountain Binding for noob

Just doing some research on which bindings to get for Burton Ruler size 9 to do all mountain riding. 1st time boarder. Stuff is confusing. I was just thinking of getting the most popular at sierra, the union force but looks like some people don't like one aspect of it. I don't know what "features" to look for so explain what "features" i want and/or recommend a set.

forces or rome 390s

enough good things can't be said about either on this forum. i personally ride in the 390s, and love them. admittedly i haven't tried forces.

they're both on sale at sierra like you've already discovered. imo, buy which one you think looks cooler and have a blast. debating over the two anymore than that is wasting your time, especially at this point in your riding career.

i have rome 390s mounted right now. took them up the other day for the first time and i thought they were amazing. of course, in my limited experience, the only other binders i've tried were rentals and a pair of size small burton mission bindings (destroyed my feet).

i bought a pair of flux feedbacks as well. i've got those mounted currently in place of the 390s for a test run the next time i go up.

so yeah, no qualms with union, i've never tried them before. they look killer though.

i love my life

Bindings

Love my Flow NXTs. Set 'em up once and they're easy in and out for the day. Ankle support is great. They work well in deep powder and groom alike.

union forces are perfect for allmountain. with a size 9 you should go with the L/XL.
