The Union strap is a toe cap strap, it's just a different design then you're probably used to.

The plastic clip goes on the front of your boot and the clothish material goes on top of the toe

[QUOTE=Milo303;255672]The Ride NRc's and SPI's are going to be tons more comfy for an all mountain rider, vs. the Union Force. [QUOTE]

My brother has NRc's and I think they're pretty decent and responsive but I still don't find them more comfortable than my force. I like the low profile 3D molded ankle strap on that union has.

I can't comment on the Forces since I've never ridden them, but I can say that my current Flux Titans are way more comfortable than my old SPi's.

Go with some Flux Feedbacks! My Flux Super Titans are definitely better than the Union Forces and Datas I've owned.

16 NS West . 15 NS Snowtrooper BIA . 13 Salomon Pow Snake
15 Now Drive . 14 Burton Genesis
14 Flow Hylite

think Flux Super Diamond is the top of the line for Flux. Union Force MC is the top of the line for Union.

Yup Super Diamond is the top one. I didn't bring that up since he was looking at midrange Forces.

Same, I sent my 2010 Forces back. Totally hyped, the toe straps/caps on them are just plain pathetic.
