The freestyle binding is one of Burton's entry level bindings. That being said when I first start to board about 15 years ago that was my first binding and the footbed/baseplate/and hi-back are all still in riding condition. Had to get new straps after abouth 5 years.
However if you don't have the coin to drop on a better pair of bindings they are functional. |

Well, I think he's talking to a customer the wrong way that's for sure, but the Freestyles are a lower end binding. Judging by your riding level on the 360 vids I think you'd like a better binding, however the freestyles won't "hurt" your riding any, you'll just get more response from something else.
If you're looking to stay with Burton bindings, I suggest the Triads or the Cartels (just personal experience here) |
