Binding problems :S - Snowboarding Forum

I have a pair of Union Milan binding and I think they're great! I just have a small problem. The screw for the ankle strap is constantly coming loose, but only on the right foot (I ride regular). I will tighten in before I board, but after a few hours the ankle strap will start becoming loose. Even after I tighten it again, it still becomes loose. Why is this happening?
Another problem I have is that the Milan binding are made of leather and it is become worn down. The leather has become really worn on the ankle strap. Am I tightening my binding too much?

For the screw, take it out and put some loctite on it. As for the leather, I'm not 100% sure, but that isn't really that unusual. If it's really bad, you could call the customer service and try to get a replacement.

make sure you use BLUE loctite, not RED- red is permanent!

I will go out and buy some. I emailed Union about the leather and they are sending out new ratchets. Thanks for the help!
