forces or 390s

it seems like a lot of people on this forum like the 390s or the forces. they both seem like such good bindings i can't decide which one to grab for next season. any suggestions if i ride 70/30 park to all mtn?

Fan of the Force here...they're more responsive than the 390, which I found to be too flexible. But that's just my personal preference.

take a look at the contact SLs, they are prob comparable to the 390s in flexyness, contacts get overlooks a lot.

Seriously I wouldnt waste any time on the Contacts. One of the best things about Union bindings is the 3D molded EVA ankle strap...the contact doesn't have it.

I've tried both, and I'd say go with the 390s if you mostly ride park. The adjustable heel cup on my forces kept slipping and couldn't be fixed without replacing the heel cup itself, but other than that it performed pretty well. The 390s are better (in my opinion) if you spend a lot of time on jibs and jumps with the occassional black diamond run. I felt that the 390s also offered more adjustability (and a heel cup that is part of the binding frame).

i have the forces and boy do i like them. never tried the 390s tho. but the force lets u control pretty easy and are light and have even pressure around the boot. im comparing this to flows cuz thats the only other binding i tried.
