Rome 390 heelstrap durability? - Snowboarding Forum

Anyone else having durability issues with the leather/fabric part of the heelstrap where it meets the ratchet when fully strapped in? I noticed mine starting to fall apart after only 20 days or so which seems pretty ridiculous to me. The warranty does not cover "normal wear and tear" but 20 days? That doesn't seem normal to me.

Makes me think I should have gone with Union Forces instead (although I really do like the 390 ratchets better than the Force ratchets).

Can you post a pic? I can't imagine how this could fall apart in 20 days.

I have a set of last years 390's with who knows how many days (over 20 this year) and thye are fine. I have a few threads fraying on the toe strap but the ankles are money!
