2010 NS Legacy-R with Union Force Bindings issue

My 2010 NS Legacy-R with Union Force Bindings just got delivered today. I couldnt wait to put those bindings on that board and jump on. However, the screws that come with the bindings are not long enough to get to the board. Anybody else had this problem. I see a trip to home depot in my future, but I cant understand why the screws would be too short.

Thanks for any replies.

Will see it happen with a few binding companies. The inserts are a little farther away from the baseplates due to the topsheet thickness. Just bump up you screws 2 mm in length and you should be fine.

16 mm length should be fine.

The season is almost upon us!!!!

Yeah, I experienced the same thing with my Forces & SL-R. I just put pressure on whilst screwing them down. Once those ridges/lines in the baseplate holes get compressed by the washer, it screws in a lot easier. I haven't had any problems since.
